And They're Off

Curator’s Comments: “Go, go…..Get in, get in….” We love the energy in our painting of the week, “And They’re Off” by Canadian artist, Bethany Harper-Williams. The swimmers’ wetsuits tell the viewers that we’re witnessing an important event. Is it part of a triathlon, or maybe they are taking part in the Lake Okanagan “Across the Lake Swim….” Whatever this is, we all know that feeling of pushing against the water, feet sinking into sand, splashing, splashing everywhere.
